Conceptual impressions surrounding this post have yet to be substantiated, corroborated, confirmed or woven into a larger argument or network. Objective: To generate symbolic links between scientific discovery, design awareness and consciousness.
Design Hypothesis:
Consciousness is conceptual, illusional, symbolic metaphoric and virtual in character. Consciousness is the quintessential archetype. Consciousness is the concomitant consequence associated with a range of multidimensional patterns of energy whose origin rests beyond the subconscious.
Awareness brings forward a “sense of consciousness” by fostering correspondences and fusing the concepts of meaning and purpose. Metaphysical in content and context, quantum, fractal and holographic in representation, all forms of energy/Life are revealed and made apparent by means of Design. Design is lovingly veiled in all that can be seen, known, measured and/or felt. (12.10.2022)
Design describes a metaphysical and multidimensional process. The design process is dependent upon knowledge, understanding, intention, intuition, imagination and awareness. Design creates a network of energy in motion (EIM) between fields/states/points/agents and patterns of awareness. Design creates a virtual, symbiotic and metaphoric lattice between consciousness, the subconscious and the unconscious, the tangible and the intangible, the known and the unknown, the seen and the unseen. All forms of energy in motion are based upon principles of meaning and purpose both felt and understood. (01.13.2023)
Energy in motion makes waves. Energy in motion is forever moving, flowing and changing. Energy in motion creates waves upon and within an ocean of consciousness. Energy in motion creates currents, waveforms and impressions upon and within all of consciousness. Some of these impressions are seen (waves) others remain unseen (currents).
All forms of energy in motion affect our conscious ocean from the winds moving upon its surface to the undercurrents hidden below. Flowing currents harbor Life's consubstantial origins. Awareness runs deep within our soul, characteristically felt but rarely measured.
Disturbances and impressions originate from visible and invisible sources and re-sources. Energy in motion is defined from within a quantum ocean of virtual potential (QFVPP) where the concept of a Universal Consciousness/Intelligence divulges no border, limitation or constraint.

The interface between the ocean and the wind can be chaotic and turbulent at times. Discernment as to the cause of these events are interpreted within the mind’s eye of the observer. Turbulence forms droplets of energy sprayed into the realm of the unconscious. We strive throughout life to ride these waves, feel their buoyancy and resist their undercurrents by virtue of experience. We integrate our experiences into bundles of awareness by means of symbol and metaphor, in effect we create a personal network of energy in 3D space and time for the simple sake of survival. Only by design are we able to discover, distinguish, integrate and transform what is known with the unknown. Our thoughts and feelings are made apparent by virtue of what we create for both us and others. Our subconscious creates a membranaceous layer between the known and the unknown and is instrumental in adapting to the turbulence of change.
Deep waters and surface waters flow together.
Fragmentation implies separation. Dualism creates the blueprint for inventiveness, innovation, inspiration, artistry, vision, enterprise, originality, initiative, individuality and creativity. Dualism creates attention (a-tension) attracting observation, focus and exploration through symbolic means. It is at this transcendent level of awareness where the circumstance becomes apparent that design, in the form of signs, symbols and metaphor, become the symbolic language of both the visible and invisible, the measurable and immeasurable, consciousness and a quantum consciousness.
Energy in motion - change emerges as result of these observations. Observations become “realized” by virtue of coherent resonance, i.e. attractions made apparent in the process of executing a particular language designed and felt most appropriate for the situation.
The exercise of focusing creates a field of its own while whirling about a central point of attraction or interest like a moth around a flame. * Correspondences share frequencies, i.e. rates of occurrence, with other comparable forms of energy in motion (EIM). These recurrent events are experienced every moment and are forever changing.
* The collective consciousness is likewise subjugated to subdivisions within itself. Every frequency creates and describes a wave of consciousness. All is change/energy.
Likened to water, consciousness flows, collects, evaporates, spirals, becomes stagnant, etc. and always changing at all levels of awareness. Energy in motion - change, describes the source of all creation, every pattern of coherence into its variety of forms, arrangements, systems, states and networks of similar or comparable characteristics.
The source of creation is an eternally changing impulse made apparent in the form of a countless number of other forces that when observed together gives credence to that which cannot be described.
Not all correspondences are made apparent; some are more tangible than others; yet together they give precedence to a universe of conscious awareness.

This text provides a rich, multifaceted exploration of consciousness, energy, and change. To expand upon and refine the themes of psychology, semiotics, design theory, metaphysics, and quantum theory, we can engage with the text’s underlying concepts more systematically while maintaining its philosophical and poetic nature. Below is a refined and expanded version, with each of these domains interwoven to create a more robust academic discourse.
Refinement and Expansion:
Energy in motion constitutes the fundamental principle from which all observable phenomena in both the material and immaterial realms emerge. Energy, as a dynamic force, is never static—it perpetually moves, flows, and transforms. This perpetual motion is not merely a physical phenomenon, but also a metaphysical and psychological one, shaping the very fabric of consciousness itself. This interaction of energy and consciousness, akin to waves upon an ocean, represents the coherent dynamic between the known and unknown, the seen and unseen, the conscious and unconscious.
In the psychological and semiotic sense, these "waves" and "currents" within the ocean of consciousness act as both symbolic representations and psychic structures. Some are readily apparent to the conscious mind—these are the "waves" we experience directly in our waking reality. Others remain deeper, submerged within the unconscious—these "currents" influence our perceptions, thoughts, and actions in ways we may not immediately recognize. Thus, the ocean of consciousness can be interpreted both as a cognitive and semiotic space, where symbols (signs, metaphors) serve as the primary means through which we interpret, navigate, and express our reality.
Within this context, energy in motion is not merely a physical phenomenon but an ongoing symbolic process by which our experiences are translated into meaning. These experiences, or impressions, are encoded within both individual and collective systems of signs, shaping the way we design our world. Whether through symbolic language or metaphor, energy in motion operates through the medium of signs to both reflect and construct our perception of reality.
The metaphysical implications of this interaction are profound: energy in motion can be seen as a manifestation of an eternal, ever-changing force—perhaps best understood as a quantum field of potential. The quantum view suggests that energy, and by extension consciousness, exists within an ocean of virtual potential, wherein every possible state of being and every possible wavefunction exists simultaneously, awaiting observation to collapse into a specific reality. This quantum ocean serves as the stage upon which the drama of conscious experience unfolds, each wave of experience an individual act within the broader unfolding of existence.
The interface between energy’s physical manifestation and the conceptual realm of consciousness is where turbulence and disturbance emerge. These disturbances, whether seen or unseen, shape our awareness and awaken our senses to new possibilities. The observer plays a crucial role in this process: just as Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle states that the observer influences the outcome of quantum events, so too does the act of perceiving energy in motion create new forms of coherence and meaning within the mind.
As energy flows through this process, disturbances manifest in symbolic forms. We interpret these energies, these "waves," by creating metaphors that map onto our lived experiences. These metaphors, once integrated, form a symbolic network—a personal design system that maps the physical, emotional, and cognitive currents within our consciousness. This network is not simply a passive receiver of information but an active creator of meaning, a dynamic design constantly reshaped by experience. The symbols we create become the scaffolding through which we engage with the world.
Dualism, the notion of opposites or separations, lies at the heart of this process. The tension between conscious and unconscious, known and unknown, visible and invisible, creates the potential for creative expression. It is within this tension that innovation, inspiration, and creativity emerge. As energy in motion manifests through dualistic structures, such as light and dark or form and formlessness, it stimulates focus and intention, compelling the observer to explore, innovate, and design. This process of exploration and creation is not limited to the material world but extends into the realm of ideas, symbols, and metaphors.
In design theory, these principles can be seen as the foundation of user experience and cognitive interaction. The metaphors and symbols we employ to organize our environments, thoughts, and relationships are not merely tools for survival, but also for expression and transformation. By understanding the symbolic language that connects the visible and invisible aspects of our world, we can more effectively navigate the turbulence of change and direct our energies toward purposeful creation.
The quantum model further enriches our understanding of these processes by suggesting that patterns of coherence—much like waves—are not fixed but are constantly reconfiguring in response to internal and external forces. This ongoing flux mirrors the perpetual state of change within consciousness, which, like water, flows, evaporates, and reconfigures itself. It is this dynamic potential that gives rise to the emergent properties of the universe: order, chaos, complexity, and simplicity coexisting in a delicate balance.
Thus, the source of creation, from both a quantum and metaphysical perspective, lies in the eternal flow of energy, a constantly evolving interplay of potential and realization. Every moment of awareness, every thought, every feeling, is an interaction between these energetic waves, each contributing to the ongoing evolution of consciousness. In this way, the universe itself can be seen as a field of conscious awareness, where every frequency and every wave function is a manifestation of energy in motion—always changing, always evolving.
Ultimately, not all correspondences are made apparent, but together they form the structural foundation of existence. Each observation, each experience, contributes to the overall design of our shared universe. The invisible currents of consciousness—whether they manifest as thoughts, emotions, or symbolic representations—serve as the subtle but profound forces of change within this ever-changing ocean.
Key Expansions:
1. Psychology: The interplay between conscious and unconscious mind is explored in terms of how energy in motion, through metaphor and symbol, affects our sense of self and identity. The unconscious influences perception, shaping both our psychic architecture and our personal design.
2. Semiotics: The use of symbols, signs, and metaphors is expanded as a fundamental process by which we interpret and interact with both the material and immaterial world. The "waves" of consciousness are metaphorically linked to the dynamic process of signification.
3. Design Theory: The idea of constructing a "personal network of energy" is linked to design, emphasizing how we create meaning through interaction with symbols, patterns, and metaphors, similar to a design process where form follows function. The symbolic language of consciousness becomes a tool for constructing our reality.
4. Metaphysics: The quantum concept of an ocean of potential is tied to the metaphysical nature of consciousness as fluid, emergent, and constantly changing. This interconnection between consciousness and energy suggests that all aspects of existence are dynamically interwoven and constantly shifting in response to internal and external factors. 5. Quantum Theory: The principles of quantum coherence, uncertainty, and potentiality are woven into the text to suggest that consciousness exists within a quantum ocean, where every state of being is possible but only realized upon observation.
This version retains the poetic nature of the original text while integrating key academic and theoretical insights into the nature of energy, consciousness, and design.
